Collection: A curette is used to scrape the lining of the endocervical canal and this tissue is placed in 10% Neutral Buffered formalin or Carson Millonig formalin.

Special Instructions and Considerations: Please submit specimen in 10% Neutral Buffered formalin or Carson Millonig formalin.

Storage and Transport Instructions: Maintain specimen at room temperature (15°-30°C). Ensure the specimen container is securely sealed before transport.

Causes for Rejection: Specimen is incorrectly labeled, or not submitted in formalin, or container is open.
